Namche Bazaar you pass through several small villages, such as Tengboche, Pangboche, Dingboche, and Lobuche where yaks are a common sight as they graze the grassy mounds. Gorakshep is the last village we pass before heading to EBC, that will take about two hours. Gorakshep offers magnificent views of the Khumbu Ice Fall at the head of the Khumbu Glacier at 5486m (17,999ft). From Gorakshep, we trek to Kala Pathar (5643m) – meaning black rock, from where you will have some of the most awesome views of the Himalayan mountains.
