The Plastic Film Container project by Ikigai Film Lab attempts to transform used plastic film containers into beautiful and useful goods. A group of filmmakers looking for a sustainable solution to dispose of their film containers started the effort. In order to create planters, organizers, and other useful objects, the organization collects recycled plastic film containers from various film projects. Following their sale, whether online or in-person, the money received is used to support ongoing sustainability projects.In addition to attempting to reduce the quantity of plastic trash put in landfills, the Plastic Film Container Initiative also spreads awareness of the concept.
