After the Indonesia U-23 vs Uzbekistan U-23 match, there was a match between Japan U-23 vs Iraq U-23. In the duel which was held at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, Japan was able to dominate the match.
Japan finally won with a score of 2-0, even though it could have been with a bigger score. Thus, Samurai Blue will meet Uzbekistan in the final of the U-23 Asian Cup while Iraq U-23 will be the opponent of the Indonesian U-23 National Team in the match for third place.
