Arun Valley Trek follows the Arun Valley, along with one of the few rivers that cut through the Himalayas to Tibet.
The route involves flying to Biratnagar and taking a bus to Dharan and Dhankuta/Hille or taking a bus all the way from Kathmandu. Flying to Tumlingtar is a good option on this route, but flights are not very frequent. The route has been designated as part of the Great Himalaya Cultural Trail.
