Bhagvad Gita Chapter 1 Shloka 1 in English With Meaning – Bhagvad Gita is considered the nutshell of teachings by Hindus. Dated back to Mahabharata, the scripture describes lessons given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna before the war. Before the starting of the war between Pandavas and Kauravas, Arjuna was in a dilemma. He feared that war and violence with his cousins might not be the right thing to do. He sought answers from the Supreme Lord Krishana who then gave him the Gita Updesh to solve his dilemma. He explained him that he must fulfil his duty and protect his Dharma.
