The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) given by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana or Andhra Pradesh equivalent, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biology subjects, and obtained at least 45% marks in the aforementioned subjects taken together (40% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved categories). The candidate must also have received a rank at the Common Entrance Test given by the TS state authority (TSCHE).
