Mangal Dosh Puja Ujjain is a religious ceremony that is performed in the Indian city of Ujjain. It is a special puja (prayer) offered to Lord Mangal (Mars) to remove any obstacle that he may be causing in the life of the person. The puja is performed by a qualified and experienced priest who chants mantras and performs a special ritual to invoke the blessings of Lord Mangal. The puja is generally done to ward off any kind of ill-effects caused by the planet Mars in a person’s horoscope. After the puja, the priest applies vermillion on the forehead of the person and offers coconut, fruits, sweets and other items as prasad. After the puja, the person is supposed to take a bath and wear clean clothes.
