Our Medical Review Board is composed of board-certified physicians across a variety of specialties, as well as other certified health specialists such as registered dietitians, pharmacists and certified fitness trainers.
Each member of our Medical Review Board has specific expertise in the topic area that he or she is reviewing. For example, oncologists review cancer pieces and cardiologists review pieces about heart disease.
Medical reviewers verify information, research and health claims to ensure that the entire piece is accurate. They make sure we’re using the correct terminology without confusing jargon – so that it makes sense. Reviewers also ensure that the proper context of information is provided, so that readers can make the best choices about their health.
