TRV Full Form- Do I need a TRV to visit Canada for Study?

The full form of TRV is Temporary Resident Visa and it’s an official document issued by the Government of Canada. In case you are entering Canada to study a program that is not longer than 6 months, you can apply for a TRV and stay in the country.
According to the 2022 Annual Report to the Parliament on Immigration, a total of 654,027 TRVs issued in the year 2021. Though this number is much less than what Canada used to bear witness before the pandemic, it is still increasing year by year.
